A sounding out of the possibilities of the limits of balance, of statics and movement, of calm and tension in artistic works, in movement, in acoustic impulses, in the social structure…. Similar to the unstable equilibrium in society, in which a small shift can lead to collapse, the same rules apply to constructions in nature and in art, for people and architecture. As long as the law of the center of gravity is observed, rotations, inclines and cantilevers are possible and increase the tension. A fine, stable line can support an entire structure; if you remove it, everything collapses.

The exhibition is completed by a collaboration with Annamaria Gelmi from Trient, Italy and Jure Markota Slovenia, who each work for a few days on this topic in various materials.


A complement to the movement with bodies with the dancer Marina Rützler supports the perception of the environment. We want to approach the grounding as the physical and psychological basis for our anchoring, the limits or the crossing of the balance as the basis of our perception and the need for changes discursively within the framework of the matinée.
