The work I intend to create in Krastal is an interactive installation that resembles a throne.
The throne as an object has always been a symbol of power and strength. The throne
I create, contrary to its usual function, changes its position in the vertical. It's difficult
to stay in it, you have to balance and use strength to hold the position. The sculpture can
turn around itself, not only around its inside. The viewers react to the superstructure laid
out in Marx's philosophy. This is particularly evident in the fact that the needs of people on
the fringes of society and various user groups are given priority.
In my opinion, when a work of art is published, ideally it initiates a communication between the
creator and the reciver through the object and consequently, by opening a dialogue, the work
of art is thus contextualized. I think it is important that a functional object has the task of
opening a social dialogue about a certain topic and that it functions according to this task.
In this context we can also talk about the ethos of "metadesign", which aims to define and create
the social, economic and technical infrastructures in which new forms of collaborative design can
take place. Therefore, the interactive installations I create are also utilitarian objects that meet
at the intersection of form and content between the visual and applied arts.
